Karrie & Paul are amazing people and I feel so thankful to call them my friends. When Karrie asked me to photograph her wedding, she was nervous Id say no. The reason why, I told her that I was closing my business, I had too much on my plate and something had to go. I love photography with my whole heart and it was a very sad day when I decided to take a break. I said yes to her, how could I turn this down? I love her and her husband to be, Paul was so sweet! I told her I was only taking 1 wedding this year and it was going to be hers! Well, as the months went on I started missing weddings so much and when her day finally came, I remembered how fun and exciting it is to be there for a bride and groom on their special day. Their wedding made me realize that I can't give it up... SO, I found other areas of my life to let go of so I could have my PASSION back in my life for good. Thats right, I'm back in the photography scene and I can't wait to see what the future holds!
Their wedding was simple but beautiful. With trees, mountains and water as their backdrop; these 2 finally said "I do" after 9 years of a serious relationship. They are made for each other TRULY! I cried making their video because the song in the video is also the song she and I both walked down the isle to... My husband and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary next week and it brought back so many memories. BEST SONG EVER!
